Belgian Gaming Commission outlines EPIS gambling access exclusions

Belgium’s Gaming Commission says it has managed the Excluded Persons Information System (EPIS) since 2004 to check whether people can enter casinos and slot machine arcades or place bets. Exclusions may be voluntary, requested by a third party or ordered by a court; the Commission also describes automatic venue exclusions for some professions.
The system and exclusion routes shape gambling operators’ checks on customers’ eligibility to play.
