ASOPOS urges Dominican government to revise gambling bill over supplier liability

Regulation

ASOPOS asked the Dominican government to return the gambling bill to Congress before promulgation, citing concerns about criminal liability for technology suppliers. The bill was sent to President Luis Abinader on 18 September; its status is not publicly known.

The proposed liability rules could affect technology suppliers serving gambling operators in the Dominican Republic.
