As.Tro to sponsor national anti-money-laundering forum in Milan

As.Tro is to sponsor the 2026 Forum Nazionale Antiriciclaggio, which is scheduled to take place on 21 and 22 October 2026 at the Fondazione Cariplo congress centre in Milan. The event is organised by the European School of Banking Management and the Scuola Italiana Antiriciclaggio & Compliance.

The 2026 edition is themed "Un anno all'AML Package – L'Europa riscrive le regole dell'antiriciclaggio: vigilanza, tecnologie e competenze verso luglio 2027". The organisers say the event marks the 30th academic year and is being held over two days for the first time. It is to bring together representatives of institutions, authorities, professionals and figures from the sectors covered by anti-money-laundering rules.

Giuseppe Simone, president and founder of Betpoint and head of As.Tro's GADS section, is scheduled to speak after the opening remarks, in a session on applying the AML Package in the practical operations of obliged entities. Roberto Saviano is listed as a special guest and is to close the day with an address titled "Antiriciclaggio è democrazia", on the relationship between anti-money-laundering efforts, organised crime, markets and prevention tools.

As.Tro said its sponsorship renews its support for an event it describes as an opportunity for training, updating and discussion on legality and the prevention of money laundering. The association said its participation confirms its attention to the development of anti-money-laundering safeguards and to regular discussion between public gambling operators, institutions and supervisory authorities.
