Rio de Janeiro's state court recorded 689 lawsuits against sports betting companies through September 2026, compared with 58 in all of 2024, according to a court survey. Kaizen Gaming Brasil, HS do Brasil and Ana Gaming were named in 138, 70 and 36 cases respectively; claims against the three exceeded R$20m. Betano said it does not comment on court cases, and the other two companies had not responded at publication.
