AMLA prepares checks on non-financial entities including gambling companies
The Bank of Italy’s 2025 activity report, published by Italy’s Chamber of Deputies, says AMLA is preparing oversight checks on non-financial obliged entities, including gambling companies. The report says AMLA began indirect supervision of banking and financial intermediaries and will directly supervise certain complex, cross-border banking and financial groups from 2028.
Gambling companies may face AMLA oversight checks, making preparation for non-financial supervision relevant to operators.
