Alea and consumer groups submit proposed changes to AGCOM gambling guidance

Regulation

Alea, the Forum nazionale delle associazioni familiari and five consumer associations presented observations and amendments on AGCOM’s supplementary guidance for communications campaigns addressing gambling addiction, according to the groups. Their proposals include restricting gambling-company branding in prevention campaigns and changing wording they consider ambiguous; they also formally requested a hearing.

The proposals could affect how gambling-related prevention campaigns and industry branding are treated under AGCOM guidance.
