AGSI calls for consultation on Italy’s land-based gambling reform
AGSI president Pasquale Chiacchio called for consultation on Italy’s planned land-based gambling reform and future concession tenders. He said the decree’s text remained unknown to some stakeholders weeks before the 29 August deadline cited for completing the process, and argued that reform should protect a diverse operator market.
The reform’s timing and concession design could affect land-based operators of different sizes in Italy.
