AGSI asks Italian Senate to approve bill on gambling-sector bank accounts

Regulation

AGSI president Pasquale Chiacchio asked Italy’s Senate Finance and Treasury Commission to approve Bill 1595 on current accounts. He said banks continue to close accounts and deny credit to state-authorised gambling businesses, while some employees are also unable to open accounts. AGSI said a petition at Enada Rimini 2025 received more than 5,000 signatures.

The proposal concerns banking access for gambling businesses and workers in Italy.
