AGIC urges Italy to complete gambling-sector regulatory reform
AGIC, which represents licensed public gambling operators, called for Italy to complete its regulatory reform, particularly for land-based gambling. The association cited a parliamentary report stating that 60% of students gambled at least once in 2025 and that at-risk and problem-gambling profiles had risen from 2024. AGIC said regulated gambling offers tools to identify and address risky behaviour.
Completing reform could shape land-based gambling rules and protections amid reported increases in student gambling risk.
