AGCO standards set eligibility and betting restrictions for Ontario players

Regulation

Source: AGCO (Ontario)

Ontario's Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) standards restrict who may open or use a player account and place bets. The rules set a general minimum age of 19, with an exception for people aged 18 or older buying lottery tickets, and prohibit certain people—including athletes and others with influence over sporting outcomes—from betting on specified events.

Operators must apply age and account eligibility rules and prevent specified people from betting on events where they may have influence.
