AGCO suspends Ottawa's Vegas Island liquor licence over drug trafficking

The AGCO suspended the liquor sales licence of Vegas Island at 5029 Bank Street in Ottawa effective 11 December 2025, the regulator said. The move followed a 10-month RCMP investigation with US Homeland Security and the Canada Border Services Agency; the AGCO concluded drug trafficking took place on the premises with staff involvement and no preventive effort by the licensee.
