Boca Juniors may face Brazil fines over Betsson shirt logo

Boca Juniors could face administrative sanctions in Brazil after the Betsson logo appeared on its shirt sleeve during a 3-1 Copa CONMEBOL Sudamericana win over Vasco da Gama in Rio de Janeiro on 20 October. Brazil banned fixed-odds betting promotion under Provisional Measure No. 1394/2026, signed by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on 25 September. Sports lawyer Eduardo Carlezzo told EXAME the measure does not distinguish between Brazilian and foreign clubs.
