CVM clears B3 prediction-market derivatives for Brazil launch
Brazil’s securities regulator, the CVM, gave the green light for B3 to launch the country’s first prediction-market products, according to the report published on 18 February 2026. B3 plans to offer binary contracts linked initially to the dollar, Ibovespa and bitcoin in the first quarter, with access limited to professional investors holding more than R$ 10 million in financial investments.
