Brazil's Federal District Civil Police named fintech A55 Sociedade de Crédito Direto as a financial target in Operation Azzardo on 5 November, according to the investigation. Police said betting payments to sites lacking federal authorisation entered more than 100 A55 accounts, while A55 and associated companies moved about R$1bn; the operation included searches and asset-blocking measures, which police said exclude the funds of uninvolved customers.
