US commercial gaming revenue reaches $78.72bn in 2025, AGA says
The American Gaming Association said US commercial gaming generated US$78.72 billion in gross gaming revenue in 2025, up 9.2% year on year. State-regulated gaming produced US$18.09 billion in tax revenue, while sports betting generated US$16.96 billion and iGaming US$10.74 billion. The AGA estimated that sports event contracts in prediction markets had diverted more than US$500 million in potential sports betting tax revenue.
