Spain’s election timetable delays parliamentary progress on gambling law reform

Regulation

Spain’s snap election, called for 29 November, leaves the gambling law reform prepared by the DGOJ without time to pass through Parliament in the current legislative term, according to the report. The report says the next government could decide whether to continue the reform.

Operators and suppliers face uncertainty over when proposed changes to Spain’s gambling rules may advance.
