Philippine police intensify patrols against remaining illegal POGO operations

Enforcement & compliance

The Philippine National Police ordered officers to increase patrols along routes suspected of being used by syndicates to continue illegal POGO operations. Acting chief Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr said police were coordinating with intelligence agencies and foreign counterparts; the government had ordered POGOs to close by December 2024.
