Regulation

Peru’s Superintendence of Banking, Insurance and Private Pension Funds adopted new anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing rules on 8 April 2026 for casinos, slot-machine businesses, sports betting and online games licensed by MINCETUR. The rules require transaction records for amounts above $2,500 or equivalent, suspicious-activity reports within 24 hours and record retention for at least five years; fines can reach S/40,000.
