PENN opens $360m Hollywood Casino and Hotel Aurora in Illinois
PENN Entertainment opened Hollywood Casino and Hotel Aurora in Illinois after a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Illinois Gaming Board officials and local and state representatives. The $360 million property replaces the company’s former riverboat casino and includes more than 1,000 slot machines, over 50 table games and a retail sportsbook.
PENN’s new land-based casino replaces its riverboat property and adds casino, hotel and retail sportsbook operations in Illinois.
