PAGCOR warns rising oil prices are affecting Philippine gaming sector
PAGCOR chairman and chief executive Alejandro H. Tengco said rising fuel costs are affecting business activity and consumer behaviour in the Philippines gaming sector. Speaking on 14 April, Tengco said suppliers and other industry stakeholders were also facing pressure; PAGCOR’s proposed separation of regulatory and commercial functions remains under review by the Governance Commission for Government-Owned or Controlled Corporations.
Higher fuel costs are affecting gaming businesses and consumers, while PAGCOR’s proposed restructuring remains undecided.
