PAGCOR reported total revenue of Php64.41bn for the first nine months of 2026, a fall of 23.4% from the same period a year earlier, according to the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation. The corporation attributed the decline to weaker performance in electronic gaming, where revenue dropped 37.2% to Php27.63bn.
Revenue from licensed casinos fell 3.2% to Php23.10bn. PAGCOR's Casino Filipino branches recorded an 8% decline to Php7.28bn, and poker operations brought in Php105.86m, down 4.6%. Gaming operations overall generated Php58.13bn, 23.4% lower year on year.
Other related services revenue declined 38.6% to Php3.04bn, while other income was almost flat at Php3.23bn. Total expenses rose 3% to Php19.86bn, and pre-tax profit fell 31% to Php44.55bn. Net income was 85% lower at Php2.17bn.
PAGCOR said the net income drop is partly attributable to an October 2025 Supreme Court ruling requiring it to pay 5% of gross revenue to the Philippine Sports Commission, nearly double the previous remittance level.
Chairman and chief executive Alejandro Tengco said: "While we recognize the impact of lower gaming revenues on our financial performance, PAGCOR remains committed to carrying out its mandate." He added: "We will continue to pursue responsible and sustainable operations while ensuring that the gaming industry adheres to regulatory standards."
PAGCOR remitted Php45.28bn in contributions to nation-building and other statutory obligations during the nine months, including Php27.61bn to the National Treasury.
