Novibet appointed Yiannis Stravroulas as chief technology officer, with responsibility for technology infrastructure, product innovation and customer experience. The company said he would support its technology strategy; Stravroulas described plans for international expansion across 10 countries in three continents.
The appointment puts a named executive in charge of Novibet’s technology and product priorities.

Allwyn reported net revenue of €1,204m for the first quarter of 2026, a 21% rise year on year, the company said. Adjusted EBITDA increased 24% to €443m, while online net gaming revenue rose 68% to €540m. The quarter included the completed combination of Allwyn International AG and OPAP and the consolidation of PrizePicks.
Allwyn merged with its Greek subsidiary OPAP, according to the report. The report also says Allwyn acquired US fantasy operator PrizePicks recently and holds a stake in online sports betting company Betano.
Allwyn said it has extended its partnership with Formula 1 for a multi-year term and launched the Allwyn League on F1 Predict. The league will award prizes, including Grand Prix tickets, to users who score well on race predictions. Formula 1 said the renewed partnership also includes its Formation Lap and the Allwyn Global Community Award programme.
Allwyn UK is restructuring its leadership, creating social impact, marketing and digital roles while phasing out three executive positions, the company said. Alastair Ruxton will become Director of Social Impact, Stephen Taylor will start as interim Chief Marketing Officer on 17 November, and recruitment for the Chief Digital Officer role is ongoing. Mark Smith will remain as a technology strategy adviser until June 2027; Richard Dawkins and Sarah Venning will also leave the company.
The company is adding three senior positions: a Director of Social Impact, a Chief Marketing Officer and a Chief Digital Officer. Under the restructuring, three C-level positions will be removed.
