New York gaming commission warns against unlawful online gambling

New York’s State Gaming Commission has launched a public awareness campaign on unlawful online gambling in the state. It warns against prediction markets and offshore operators, while identifying licensed sports betting, horse-racing wagering, charitable online raffles, interactive fantasy sports and the New York Lottery as legal options, according to the commission.

The campaign clarifies which online gambling options the commission considers lawful in New York.
