Nevada Gaming Control Board reports May Strip casino revenue rise
Nevada’s Gaming Control Board reported that Las Vegas Strip gaming revenue rose 19.4% year on year to $397.1 million in May. Strip baccarat win increased 58.6% to $174.3 million, while slot win rose 7.8% to $410.8 million; analyst Barry Jonas said stronger gaming results and a 2% rise in May visitation had improved sentiment.
The figures give casino operators and investors a regulator-reported view of May revenue trends across Las Vegas markets.
