Nebraska voters consider online sports betting and Indiana counties weigh casino proposals
Voters in Nebraska and three Indiana counties considered gambling measures on 3 November, according to the report. Nebraska’s Initiatives 440 and 441 would amend the state constitution to allow online sports betting; voters in Allen, DeKalb and Steuben counties were asked whether they supported a casino, with any successful county able to submit a proposal to the Indiana Gaming Commission.
The ballot outcomes could open online sports betting in Nebraska or start a licensing process for an Indiana casino.
