NCPG launches 1-800-MY-RESET gambling helpline number
The National Council on Problem Gambling said its new 1-800-MY-RESET number is live and connects callers to the National Problem Gambling Helpline Network across the United States. The network links to 24 contact centres, and the helpline is available around the clock, free and confidential. Existing access points will remain active, while adoption of the new number may vary by jurisdiction.
Operators and regulators may need to account for differing state-level adoption when directing people to gambling support.
