NBA restricts player prop bets and micro-wagers for 2026-27 season
The NBA is directing authorised sports betting partners, including DraftKings and FanDuel, to stop offering specified wagers this season, reportedly in response to integrity concerns. The restrictions cover certain player-stat parlays, first-event markets, opening-tip outcomes, missed-shot wagers and unders for players expected to play fewer than 12 minutes. The league is also introducing betting-policy training and real-time monitoring, while extending the restrictions to the WNBA in 2027.
Operators must remove affected markets and prepare for league monitoring and mandatory betting-policy training.
