Minas Gerais prosecutor investigates lottery concession tender process
The Minas Gerais Public Prosecutor’s Office opened a civil inquiry on 9 April into possible irregularities in a planned lottery-services concession tender. The process has an estimated value of R$15.4bn over 25 years; the tender notice has not yet been published, and lottery officials have 15 working days to respond to the inquiry.
The inquiry may affect the planned procurement timetable and the terms of Minas Gerais’ lottery concession.
