The joint operation involved the Michigan Gaming Control Board, the state attorney general’s department and Madison Township police; the Board said the investigation will proceed through the courts.

Trenton police seized more than 70 illegal gambling machines and arrested a Philadelphia man, citing an announcement on 5 October. The operation followed an 11-month investigation with assistance from the New Jersey State Police Financial Crimes Unit.

The Passaic County Sheriff’s Office seized $95,000 during an investigation into alleged illegal gambling at Angel’s Rosa Parks Food in Paterson, New Jersey. Officers executed a search warrant on 26 August 2026 and arrested owners Alejandro Munoz-Soriano and Cesar Munoz-Soriano, who were charged with promoting gambling and possessing gambling records and devices; both were released pending a court hearing.
