Lanzhou police arrest 34 in gambling-den raid in Gansu
Police in Honggu District, Lanzhou, arrested 34 people at an abandoned house during an operation against gambling, the Lanzhou Public Security Bureau said. Officers seized more than 90,000 yuan, and eight suspects identified as organisers remained in custody ahead of a court hearing. The other 26 arrestees were issued administrative penalties, while the investigation continued.
The arrests and penalties indicate enforcement activity against illegal gambling groups in the market.
