Belgium's Gaming Commission (KSC) says a judge can add a person to its EPIS list of excluded players. The ban applies to land-based and online casinos, gaming halls and betting; queries about this type of exclusion should go to the local justice of the peace, as KSC cannot amend the record.
Operators must enforce court-ordered exclusions across all listed gambling channels.

Online gross gaming revenue reached €49.7m, while total stakes across online and retail channels were €442.6m.
The Dutch Gambling Authority hosted the first Player Protection Conference on 8–9 September 2025, with regulators, academics, researchers and experts from 16 European countries. Participants discussed youth protection, illegal gambling and advertising, and using player data to identify risk factors; working groups were launched and were due to meet for the first time during 2026.
Belgium’s Gaming Commission says licensed online betting websites have nearly 500,000 active player accounts. It reports that sports betting accounts for 86% of betting GGR, with three-quarters of that figure attributed to football.
Belgium’s Gaming Commission says the National Lottery is not part of the commission and its lottery games are outside the commission’s remit. The commission does oversee Scooore! sports betting because betting falls under the Gambling Act; cooperation on complaints and a helpline has also taken place under an agreement.
