KSA restructures governance and creates three directorates from January 2026

Regulation

The KSA will introduce a new governance and organisational structure in the Netherlands from 1 January 2026, with one full-time chair, two part-time board members and three directorates. Recruitment for the two board roles was at an advanced stage, and vice-chair Bernadette van Buchem is leaving.

The new structure changes how the KSA manages supervision, licensing and enforcement responsibilities.
