KSA rejects Nedcoin companies’ request for repayment of supervision costs

Regulation

The Kansspelautoriteit rejected requests from Nedcoin 1 and Nedcoin 2 to repay or offset supervision costs they paid between 2014 and 2019, according to the authority’s decision. The KSA said there was no legal basis for repayment or offsetting; the companies’ 2024 applications for gaming arcade licences remain under review.

The decision denies the companies’ cost-recovery request while their new arcade licence applications remain pending.
