KSA invalidates both bids for Dutch gambling-blocking software contract

Tenders & awards

The Netherlands Gambling Authority (KSA) invalidated the bids from BetBlocker and Gamban for a contract to provide free gambling-blocking software, according to the report. The KSA withdrew its provisional award to BetBlocker after Gamban filed a legal objection; the regulator said it has not decided whether to rerun the tender. The proposed contract would run for three years, with two possible 24-month extensions.

The invalidated bids leave the Netherlands without an awarded provider under this tender, while a possible rerun remains undecided.
