KSA allows prospective Dutch licence buyers to apply before acquisitions
The KSA published revised guidance in late November for gambling companies seeking to acquire a Dutch licence holder, allowing a prospective buyer to apply for a licence before the acquisition. The application covers the reliability assessment; passing it gives the buyer greater certainty, while the buyer must state whether the existing or new licence holder would offer gambling in the Netherlands.
Prospective acquirers can seek an early reliability assessment before deciding whether to proceed with a Dutch licence-holder purchase.
