Kraken explores prediction markets launch for 2026
Kraken is exploring offering prediction markets to its users in 2026, the company’s global head of consumer, Mark Greenberg, said in an interview, according to the report. Kraken has not detailed its strategy. The report says it bought Small Exchange from IG Group for $100 million in October to secure a licence to offer event contracts in the country.
A possible Kraken launch would add another company to the prediction-markets sector amid regulatory challenges over sports event contracts.
