KH Group reopens Jeju casino as Blue One after KRW10bn acquisition

KH Group reopened the Jeju Sun casino as Blue One Casino on 16 March, after gaming operations had been closed since 15 December 2025 for refurbishment. Bloomberry Resorts completed the sale on 4 March: the source says KRW7.00 billion was paid upfront, with KRW3.00 billion due by 27 February 2027; Bloomberry retains the hotel and real estate.

The sale transfers casino operations to KH Group while Bloomberry retains the hotel property and a deferred payment remains due.

France's competition authority has approved Banijay's planned acquisition of casino operator Joa without conditions. The review, the authority's first of a gambling transaction spanning online and land-based operations, focused mainly on poker and concluded that the deal was unlikely to restrict competition.
