Kansas’ four commercial casinos recorded $36.6 million in revenue in December, down 1.5% year on year, according to figures published by the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission. Electronic gaming devices generated $32.5 million, up 1%, while table-game revenue fell 18% to $4 million.

Kansas casino revenue reached $62.8 million in January, according to figures published by the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission. Historical horse racing parimutuel wagering generated $29.5 million, while electronic gaming devices produced $29.5 million and table games revenue fell 1.9% to $3.8 million.
Reportedly, Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway began construction of The Dotte on 25 September. The approximately 140-room hotel will connect to the casino and is expected to open in 2028 under Marriott Bonvoy's Tribute Portfolio brand.
