The event is organised with Peru's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) under the title "Steady Hands, Shifting Ground: Advancing Regulation in a Connected World". Participants include international regulators, responsible-gambling experts and industry organisations, among them the World Gaming and Betting Association (WGBA).
Reportedly, Bidding has opened in Wales for the second year of a gambling blocking contract. The invitation follows an initial direct award to Gamban eight months earlier, which prompted an objection from lawyers acting for charity BetBlocker.
BetBlocker International received €20,000 at ICE Barcelona ’26, according to the organisation’s representative. Pedro Romero said the donation would help fund research and the development of tools for people at risk of gambling-related harm. BetBlocker International said it supported more than 300,000 active users worldwide in 2025.

The regulator said the translation improves access to self-protection tools for Greek-speaking users who want to limit or stop access to gambling sites and services.
The Kansspelautoriteit withdrew its provisional award of a Dutch tender to BetBlocker, which confirmed the decision and said a new award decision would follow verification. BetBlocker said Gamban had challenged verification of its bid; the regulator declined to comment while the procedure remained ongoing, and the timing and outcome of the next decision were unknown.
