Jurnii reports smaller UK casino offers after remote gaming duty rise

Regulation

Jurnii’s analysis found that UK casino operators ran more existing-customer bonus offers after remote gaming duty rose to 40% on 1 April 2026, but the typical offer was worth less. Across eight casino brands with enough valued offers, the average fell from £5.66 in March to £4.25; the analysis also reported that sports promotions changed little.

The findings indicate how casino operators adjusted existing-customer promotion values after the UK duty increase.
