Italy’s government report records €165.3bn in 2025 gaming wagers

Regulation

Italy’s Chamber of Deputies examined a government report recording €165.3bn in public gaming wagers for 2025, according to a media report. The report put winnings at €143.4bn, state revenue above €11.5bn and player spend at €21.9bn. It also said local regulatory fragmentation had prevented tenders to renew land-based gaming concessions in recent years.

The findings affect operators awaiting land-based concession tenders and provide market-wide figures for regulators and investors.
