Italian MPs propose measures to reorganise land-based gambling
Stefano Vaccari and Virginio Merola submitted a resolution to the Finance Commission proposing a reorganisation of Italy’s land-based gambling sector. The proposals include progressively reducing AWP and VLT availability, harmonising rules on locations and opening hours, and strengthening player protections; the resolution would guide government action if approved.
The proposals could affect the availability and operating conditions of land-based gambling venues if adopted.
