Italian MP Vaccari says land-based gambling reform may be delayed
Italian MP Stefano Vaccari said the government may extend existing arrangements rather than proceed with land-based gambling reform, according to the report. He said the reform remained under review before referral to the State-Regions Conference and that the current deadline was 29 August 2026. Vaccari also criticised a lack of parliamentary consultation and raised concerns about concession thresholds and access to gambling data.
A delay could affect the timing and terms of future Italian land-based gambling concessions.
