Italian Chamber president urges structured gambling regulation focused on health
Italian Chamber of Deputies president Lorenzo Fontana called for structured, regularly updated gambling regulation in a message to a parliamentary conference on 24 February 2026. He said rules should support prevention and player health while helping counter illegal betting, and called for cooperation among institutions, families, schools and health services.
