Illinois sports wagers fell more than 10% year on year in May to just over $1.1 billion, according to Illinois Gaming Board figures. Adjusted revenue declined almost 2% against May 2025, while sports betting tax revenue rose more than 16% to almost $53 million. DraftKings and FanDuel recorded a combined handle of $722.4 million and adjusted revenue of $82.3 million.
Illinois casinos generated $192.8 million in revenue in May, up 9.2% year over year, according to Illinois Gaming Board figures. Slots accounted for $146.5 million, an increase of 10.3%, while table-game revenue rose 6% to $46.2 million; Rivers Casino led with $48.7 million.
Rhode Island Lottery recorded July sales of $26.6m, an increase of 8%. All key games recorded growth.
Pennsylvania recorded $625.5 million in gambling revenue in May, reportedly a new state high. The figure was 4% higher than a year earlier.
