France’s ANJ orders ISPs to block Polymarket website

Enforcement & compliance

France’s National Gaming Authority (ANJ) ordered internet service providers to block access to Polymarket on 16 July 2026. The regulator said the site was promoting gambling and illegal betting; the block will remain while the platform is non-compliant with French betting-market standards.

The order restricts Polymarket’s access to users in France while the regulator considers its services non-compliant.
