Flutter CEO sees further US betting legalisation opportunities after midterms

Deals & M&A

Flutter CEO Dan Taylor said the company expects more US states to regulate online sports betting or iGaming in coming years, despite Nebraska voters rejecting two online betting measures. Flutter reported contributing approximately $32 million to a super PAC in the first nine months of 2026, while Taylor said prediction-market operators were increasing media costs.

Potential state regulation could open new markets for Flutter, while Nebraska’s rejection and rising media costs add uncertainty.
