Finnplay said it had agreed to provide its platform for two SpinCore Group brands planned for Finland’s regulated iGaming market. SpinCore said it had submitted a Finnish licence application and planned to launch when the market opens in July 2027.

The KSA extended iCasino B.V.’s licence on 12 October 2026 to permit Hard Rock Casino to offer sports betting in the Netherlands. Parent company SpinCore Group said further work remained before the sportsbook could launch and provided no revised launch date.
The KSA has approved an extension to the licence held by iCasino B.V., the company behind Hard Rock Casino, allowing the operator to offer sports betting in the Netherlands. The extension took effect on 12 October 2026, according to an announcement by parent company SpinCore Group on LinkedIn.
SpinCore Group reported revenue of €6m in its first quarterly earnings, according to reports. Revenue across its Netherlands- and Belgium-facing brands rose 22.9% year on year; the company also has plans to launch in Finland when regulation permits.
SpinCore Group said Hard Rock Casino had applied to the Kansspelautoriteit for a Dutch sports-betting licence and was awaiting approval. The group expects the sportsbook to launch by the end of Q3 2026, subject to regulatory approval and operational readiness, and said it had selected Altenar as its supplier.
France's competition authority has approved Banijay's planned acquisition of casino operator Joa without conditions. The review, the authority's first of a gambling transaction spanning online and land-based operations, focused mainly on poker and concluded that the deal was unlikely to restrict competition. The authority said its assessment did not account for possible future legalisation of online casino games.
Wynn Resorts expects its Al Marjan Island resort in Ras Al Khaimah to open in September 2027, according to chief executive Craig Billings. The company expects to decide around February 2027 how the resort will launch; handovers to its operations team are due to begin in early 2027, with full control expected in late July.
