FEBRALOT challenges suspension of Caixa's BetCaixa project in Brazil
FEBRALOT opposed the suspension of Caixa Econômica Federal's BetCaixa project and asked the Senate to refer the matter to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva for reconsideration. The suspension was made by the Palácio do Planalto in late 2025; the project was projected to generate BRL 2.5 billion for the government in 2026, according to the report.
