The FATF announced on 30 October 2026 that Bulgaria, Côte d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Monaco had been removed from its increased-monitoring list after progress on AML/CFT deficiencies. Vietnam remains on that list, while Myanmar, Iran and North Korea remain on the high-risk list subject to a call for action.

On 30 October 2026, the FATF released changes to how jurisdictions are listed. Monaco, Bulgaria, Côte d’Ivoire and the Democratic Republic of the Congo were taken off the Grey List, which covers jurisdictions under increased monitoring. The delistings reflect headway on fixing weaknesses in their AML/CFT frameworks that had been flagged as strategic.

Vietnam stays on the Grey List. Iran, Myanmar and North Korea (the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea) are still on the Black List, the category for high-risk jurisdictions that face a call for action.

The notice about the Grey List removals is dated 03/11/2026. It directs readers to FATF publications for further detail.
